At F. LIST Florida, we have a specialized team of around 40 employees, focusing on the Air Aftermarket sector. We provide services and products for refurbishing and upgrading aircraft cabins for business and private jets, including intricate craftsmanship for repairing, refurbishing, redesigning, and modernizing high-quality aircraft furniture.
As part of our team you will...
- manage and oversee the entire production area across Woodwork, Finishing, Upholstery, and R&I, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operations.
- monitor and ensure compliance with all quality, occupational safety, process safety, and aviation-related standards.
- optimize the deployment of personnel, materials, and production equipment to maximize efficiency, capacity utilization, and output.
- ensure on-time production and delivery across all departments, proactively identifying and addressing risks, delays, or bottlenecks.
- continuously review and improve production processes, workflows, and layouts to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Project Management, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues related to design intent, materials, feasibility, and production processes.
- act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational challenges.
- lead, motivate, and develop the production team fostering a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
You're a good fit if you....
- hold a technical degree, ideally with a focus on production or manufacturing or have a completed training as a painter/cabinet maker/upholsterer or similar.
- bring experience in managing production operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- have proven experience in shop floor management and leading production teams.
- demonstrate a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills to motivate and develop your team.
- possess a solid understanding of production processes, resource planning, and cost management
- have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and with clients.
- experience in implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and KPI monitoring.
- comfortable working in a dynamic, high-quality craftsmanship environment with complex projects and tight deadlines.
