At our headquarters in Thomasberg, we employ about 800 people from over 13 nations. This is where our roots lie and it is the place where high-quality interiors for business and private jets as well as luxurious living spaces are manufactured.

As part of our team you will...

  • work on development tasks related to wood-based materials, composite materials, and surface systems for yacht interiors.
  • collaborate on product development projects and take on responsibility for sub-projects, from the concept phase through to production readiness.
  • familiarize yourself with new material and surface technology topics such as flame retardancy, lightweight construction, wood substitutes, coatings, veneers, and paint systems.
  • plan, conduct, and evaluate tests and trials - in the laboratory, in production, and with external partners and testing institutes, particularly in the area of surface durability and quality.
  • select, evaluate, and further develop materials, technologies, and surface solutions in collaboration with suppliers and partners.
  • create development documentation, reports, and production-related documents.
    Work closely with internal departments as well as external customers and partners.

You're a good fit if you....

  • have a technical degree in wood technology, materials science, or engineering (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university).
  • have at least two years of professional experience in development, engineering, or the materials and product sector.
  • are passionate about yachts, yacht building, and high-quality interior finishes.
  • have an interest in surface technologies such as varnishes, oils, veneers, coatings, or functional surfaces.
  • work independently and in a structured manner and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new subject areas.
  • have a hands-on mentality and a good technical understanding of materials, surfaces, and processes.
  • have very good German and good English language skills.

We attach great importance to transparency and fairness. Therefore, we undertake to quote a salary of EUR 37.800,- gross p.a. on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). However, we would like to emphasize that the actual salary will be determined individually and on the basis of your qualifications and professional experience as well as the internal salary structure. We will clarify this together when we know each other.
